WHAT!? You can’t devote your entire day to shopping at every store in town, getting all of the awesome deals? Well….me neither.
Are you ready for the good news? You don’t have to! You can pick the two or three stores that have the best deals for you that week and not worry about the rest. Here’s why.
Most categories of products have certain times of the year they are on sale. These items will be on sale for several weeks at different stores each week. For instance, baking supplies, like sugar and flour, typically go on sale at the end of the year during the holidays. Picnic items like ketchup, mustard and paper products, will go on sale in the summer time.
Shopping at two or three stores a week, means that you will not be able to get every deal. However, don’t sweat it when you miss a great deal. If ketchup is a great price at Albertson’s this week with a coupon and you miss it, chances are good you will be able to use your coupon to buy ketchup at another store the next week also for a great price. (Just make sure you watch your coupon expiration date.)
When I make my shopping list for the week, I look at what’s on sale (which is so easy to do in Coupon Sense’s Shopping List) and add the items I want to buy to my list. When I am done, I can easily see what I am buying at each store. I look at what I am buying and where and pick which two or three stores have the best deals for me that week. An item might be a very good deal but if I am going to a store just for that item, it may not be worth my time.
Coupon Sense is all about saving you money but we also want to help you save time. Running around to 10 different stores every week is going to be time-consuming and you are going to burn out quickly. Pick the stores with the best deals for YOU that week and don’t worry about the rest. Like my Grandma used to say, “There’s a good deal around every corner.”
