My Alerts has to be one of my favorite features Coupon Sense offers.

Alerts tell you when the things you are interested in are available at the price you are willing to pay. Each week your alerts are compared to the Coupon Sense database and any matching items are sent to your email address. From the Alerts email, you can select items and have them added to your shopping list.

With My Alerts I am able to enter prices I am willing to pay on groceries and items needed for my household. You can be very specific or general on the items you enter. My favorite one is the one where I no item, no category and a price of $.00 so I get all of the FREE items sent to me. I have a baby in diapers so I have Baby products selected, diapers and $5 as my target price. I want to be able to get the best deal as they are something I need and am always looking for a good deal on. Milk is something always on my shopping list and I don’t want to overpay for it so I have entered Milk, Gallon so that I get all of the gallons of milk under $2 emailed to me. I am able to go through my shopping list and enter items I buy on a regular basis or items I would like to stock up on and have it emailed to me when it is a price I am willing to pay.

My Alerts are so easy to use you can easily add an Alert by clicking the tab at the bottom a box comes up and you enter as much or as little information in it. My Alerts sends out an email once a week but if I am headed to the store before that email comes I can click test my alerts and it will come up. I am also able to scroll through and add any item on there to my shopping list.
If you are not sure what a good price on an item is you can get a “What to Pay List” from the Coupon Sense message board, that can give you an idea of when an item is a great deal and stock up on all you can or a good deal that you just buy what you need.

If you haven’t taken advantage of this great money saving tool, now is a great time to take a few minutes and add a few of your own.
