Personalize your Coupon Sense settings
Coupon Sense is a truly customized shopping system. You get to choose what information and items you need and can easily avoid categories of coupons that don’t relate to your family or your life. Here are the settings you can change for each section of the site:
My Stores – My Stores can be accessed from the My Account tab by clicking on My Settings. From here you can:
- Select or eliminate stores in your area. For the stores you don’t visit or plan on using, simply uncheck the box for that store and the information will no longer show.
- Adjust how coupons are multiplied. Within a chain of stores, one specific location will decide to double or triple the face value of coupons for a certain period of time. During this time, put a check in the appropriate box and your Shopping List will reflect the increased value of the coupons.
Any changes made to My Stores will be automatically carried over to your Shopping List. This way, the next time you log in, your new settings will be up to date.
My Categories - To change your categories, simply click on the My Account tab or right click your mouse and select My Categories while in the Shopping List.
- Eliminate categories that you don’t need.
- For example, if you don’t have a pet, uncheck the Pet Supplies box. Or if you don’t have children, you can remove that information from your view by simply unchecking the Baby Products box.
- You can adjust these categories at any time to match your family’s exact needs.
Just like My Stores, any changes you make to My Categories will be automatically carried over to your Shopping List. This way, the next time you log in, your new settings will be up to date.
My Alerts - My Alerts is a convenient feature that puts Coupon Sense on autopilot to work for you. Simply enter the items you shop for, pick a target price or choose your favorite brands and Coupon Sense will email you when those selections go on sale.
- Receive weekly email reports that outline which stores have your favorite items on sale that week at the desired price. For example, if you add an alert that has chicken breasts as the keyword and $.99 per pound as the target price, you’ll automatically get an email notifying you which store sale matches your criteria.
- Alerts are processed each week, so you’ll never miss out on the opportunity to save on the products and brands your family uses most.
- Stay informed of the very best deals and when they expire.
To create an alert, click on the My Alerts tab. Select “Add an Alert.” Then simply enter the category, a keyword for the product and a target price/ maximum price you want to pay. Select “save” and the alert will be added to your list.
